The 外科护士联络 Program at 新英格兰浸信会 Hospital offers comfort to family and friends of loved ones having surgery.
Every surgical inpatient is assigned an experienced operating room nurse as their nurse liaison.
The nurse will keep your guests informed of your progress during surgery and answer any questions they might have.
Your guest will get an electronic pager that will alert them when there is any news, so they can feel comfortable going to the cafeteria or outside of the hospital while they are waiting.
